title: Happiness
Friday was quite a lot of fun after The Release!
The highlights of Arts Fest (the day programme): The teachers (and school technicians) performed and there was a rock and acoustic band. What sports they are! Haha. Mr Ow's and Mr Toh's voices are good! Mr Ow suddenly appeared halfway from nowhere and I don't know if that was meant to be a surprise 'cause he had been on reservist and people were missing him at Farewell. Anyway, to digress a little, Philo lessons have been fun and absorbing because of him and we seem to have this rapport with him that other classes don't. And so a very dry subject has been not-so-dry these 2 years (:

Then there was the violin-guitar duo from the Australian school and Ms Rani Singam's jazz performance. All them of them played/sang so well together; they only needed to look at one another to communicate. Guess that's how much they understand their music, and I'd really like to be like that someday (:
They were SO GOOD! I loved the music they made. It was so awesome!

Anna was going ga-ga about how cool the bassist was. Lol!

And class busking. It was quite a success because all of us were there and the feeling was really...I dunno, nice, because we hadn't really practised much, but we just sang our Christmas carols and our class song (plus other songs we did not prep for) and it all came out nicely. Those who could harmonise did so, everyone was singing, should I say somewhat with gusto, and the pianists improvised, and I just love how our class is so talented. It really is hard to describe, but I really how much I love 415 for being a place where you fit in because you are different. What I'm saying is that that's the unique characteristic of our class - everyone is unique, and no one has to worry about trying to fit an image of any sort, because we are each unique and quirky like that :D
Us 4 gypsies on Thursday!

Statue Becky! :D

The day we were Christmassy for busking!

Practising in class (:

RGS Nite (sorry but I still can't stand the way they spell it) was nice. Despite my SUPER lousy seat, I enjoyed the thing (:
Before they told me phototaking was forbidden, I managed to get some shots of my beloved RGSSB doing their thing! They were really, really awesome and I'm so proud of them! :D Eben though they were doing formations and all, they were still mostly together and the volume was good. I really love George Gershwin's music; it all started with me playing his preludes for my diploma haha :D
Anyway, during the finale when all the performers were back on stage and as I watched my juniors singing and playing along I just had this wave of fondness for them, for all the time we had spent together, for RGSSB and how I would really, really, really miss playing in RGSSB ~ Don't really know how to say it, but during that finale item I think I felt the most love for RGSSB in my whole band life...

Classmates! Everyone was looking glam! HAHA.

And so. RGS life has ended. The feelings are mixed, of course. I'm so sad that RGS life is over because they were some of the best years of my life. But there's this feeling of expectation too, of moving on, trying new things and testing boundaries. Right now the former still makes itself found, though.
*wistful sigh*
